Experienceteaching at a smaller, private institution is highlypreferred.The School of Social Work is seeking a full-time faculty memberserving as a lecturer with responsibilities teaching acrosseducational levels.SOCIAL WORK: Lecturer/Sr Lecturer in the School of Social Work,BSW and MSW Programs(Applications submitted by May 1, 2021 will receive fullconsideration)Qualified individuals must possess an MSW from a CSWE accreditedprogram. Applicants must have a minimum of five years post-MSWsocial work experience, and knowledge of CSWE Standards. Highereducation teaching experience required.Responsibilities include teaching 12-credit hours per semester ofundergraduate or graduate courses, attending university recruitmentactivities, and service to Aurora University and the community. Inaddition to teaching, the assignment will include curriculardevelopment, program assessment, student advising, and engagementin institutional service and professional scholarship. Thisposition requires a presence on campus. The lecturer position is anine-month contract.Courses will primarily be taught in the online program, at the BSWand MSW levels, in alignment with programmatic and Universityneeds. Courses instructed within the online program will be taughtusing an asynchronous instructional format.
