(Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty Images)Even when it’s the offseason for college football, the rivalry between Michigan and Michigan State remains strong. The latest drama is revolving around the new uniforms for the Spartans. On the day of Michigan State’s annual spring game, the program revealed its newest look for the 2019 season. Nike made the team an alternate jersey that is vastly different from the traditional uniforms. This latest jersey for Michigan State features lime green pants and “STATE” written across the chest in the same color. It draws comparisons to a few combinations that the Oregon Ducks have showcased over the years. While the folks in East Lansing might be fans of the new uniform, former Michigan star Devin Bush isn’t very fond of it.Bush had an epic response on Twitter upon seeing the jersey, saying “Definitely stomping on that.”This is in reference to his controversial stomp on the Michigan State logo this past season. Bush was caught scuffing up the middle of the field, which resulted in a minor altercation between the Wolverines and the Spartans.Definitely Stomping on that…🤧 https://t.co/2GWljW629c— Devin Bush ll (@_Dbush11) April 13, 2019Although Bush is moving on from Michigan and will hear his name called early in the upcoming NFL Draft, he still shows his school pride. It’ll be interesting to see if any former or current players from Michigan State respond to his tweet. What do you think about these uniforms?
